Community Insurance is here for your Medicare needs. We have access to multiple carriers to best fit your coverage needs. You can choose from:
Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) are policies are sold by private insurance companies and help cover some of the health care costs that Original Medicare does not cover such as: copayments, coinsurance and deductibles. Original Medicare will pay for the Medicare approved amounts of your healthcare needs, and your supplement policy pays the rest. In order to have a Medigap policy you must be enrolled in both Medicare Part A and Part B.
Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) are policies issued by private insurance companies and work with your Medigap policy or Original Medicare coverage for prescription drug coverage. Plans have an additional premium and co-insurance is determined by tiers based on the cost of the drug.
Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) are policies issued by private insurance companies and replace your Original Medicare coverage and usually include drug coverage. Medicare supplements part (or all) of you premium. The private insurance company will handle all of your claims and care. Medicare Advantage Plans must provide the same benefits (or better) than Original Medicare. In order to have a Medicare Advantage policy, you must be enrolled in both Medicare Part A & B. You cannot have a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Supplement Plan.

Individual Health Insurance
Community Insurance is here if you don’t get coverage through and employer or if you have retired and are not yet eligible for Medicare. Through the MNSure marketplace, we are able to assist you with your individual health insurance needs.
